Job summary

QTS Data Center is seeking Licensed Journeyman Electricians for a long-term data center construction project in Cedar Rapids, IA. The role offers $64/hr base pay, $175 daily per diem, and overtime with a 6–7 day workweek and 10–12 hour shifts.

Travelers with Iowa reciprocal licenses are encouraged to apply. Onsite work with strict NEC compliance and collaboration across trades is key to success on this project.

Qualifications

• Active Journeyman Electrician License required.
• Commercial or industrial electrical construction experience preferred.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Experience on large-scale construction projects required.

Responsibilities

• Install, bend, and run EMT and rigid conduit.
• Pull wire and perform electrical terminations.
• Install switchgear, panels, lighting, and cable systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
• Work with low- and medium-voltage systems.
• Ensure NEC compliance and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams and other trades on-site.
