Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Traveling Electrical Project Manager to lead a data center electrical package in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The role requires coordinating with field leadership, the GC, client and commissioning teams to deliver on schedule, budget and safety targets.

You will oversee procurement, submittals and documentation, manage RFIs and change orders, and travel as needed to support a major hyperscale data center program across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar in electrical contracting.
• Strong data center / mission-critical construction exposure.
• Ability to travel to project sites and coordinate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical construction activities from planning through turnover on large data center projects.
• Coordinate with Superintendents, General Foremen and field teams to drive schedule and budget.
• Oversee procurement, change orders, forecasts and financial reporting.
• Develop schedules, look-aheads and key milestones for electrical work.
• Support energization, startup, testing and commissioning of critical systems.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, QA/QC and safety standards.
