Job summary

Fortiva in Culpeper, Virginia is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a major hyperscale data centre development. The role requires 8+ years in construction and a track record of delivering complex, high-value projects.

You will oversee budgets, schedules, safety, and quality while coordinating design and procurement across multidisciplinary teams, reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in construction/project management.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale data centre, hyperscale or mission-critical projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, project controls and commercial management.
• Experience managing major contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related discipline preferred.
• Experience on projects valued at $100M+ is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of large-scale data centre construction projects from pre-construction to completion.
• Manage project teams, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders.
• Oversee programme, budget, quality, safety and overall project performance.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular reporting to senior leadership and the client.
• Manage procurement, contracts, change orders, risk and commercial performance.
• Coordinate design development and ensure construction activities align with project requirements.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve complex delivery issues.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants and project stakeholders.
