E‑Frontiers in Indianapolis is seeking an experienced Cost Manager to join our Project & Cost Management team for a large-scale hyperscale data center campus. You will lead cost management across design and construction, develop budgets, forecasts, and detailed estimates, and collaborate with owners, contractors, and engineers to ensure commercial success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, architecture, or related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in construction cost management or estimating in consultancy, owner's representative, or GC environment.
• Experience delivering mission-critical data center, industrial, or large commercial construction projects is desirable.
• Strong understanding of contracts, procurement strategies, change management, and reporting.
• Experience preparing detailed cost plans, estimates, and forecasts.
• Knowledge of CSI divisions, elemental estimating, and cost benchmarking.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and cost management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead project cost management across design and construction lifecycle.
• Prepare and manage budgets, cost plans, and forecasts.
• Develop detailed estimates during design development and construction.
• Review bids, assess value engineering opportunities, and provide commercial recommendations.
• Manage change orders, contingencies, and cost reporting.
• Monitor expenditures and forecast final project costs.
• Review contractor payment applications and validate work.
• Produce monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and EV analysis.
• Support procurement, contract administration, and commercial negotiations.
• Track project risks and identify cost-efficiency opportunities.
• Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, contractors, and PM teams.
• Support commissioning and closeout from a commercial perspective.
• Maintain all commercial documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
