Job summary

TEKsystems seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead a large-scale data center campus delivery in El Paso, TX. This 100% onsite, 12-month contract involves coordinating multiple contractors and delivering critical infrastructure through execution, commissioning, and turnover phases.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction/project management with strong electrical and MEP expertise, excellent communication, and proven leadership to drive safety, schedule, and budget

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction, project management, or construction management experience.
• Strong electrical construction background.
• Demonstrated knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems.
• Experience managing schedules, budgets, project risks, and stakeholder communications.
• Background working for or closely alongside major General Contractors.
• Experience delivering large, technically complex construction projects.
• Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate across diverse teams.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day project execution across a complex, multi-contractor construction environment.
• Serve as the primary point of coordination between construction, engineering, operations, and project stakeholders.
• Drive project performance related to safety, quality, schedule, and budget.
• Partner with General Contractors and trade partners to ensure successful project delivery.
• Monitor project risks, resolve issues, and provide regular status updates to leadership teams.
• Support commissioning and turnover activities to ensure operational readiness.
• Coordinate project logistics, site planning, and contractor activities.
• Participate in design reviews, planning sessions, budgeting efforts, and schedule development.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across all project activities.
