Job summary

Neighbor is building the largest hyperlocal marketplace for storage and parking, with listings across the United States. As a Marketplace Growth Associate, you’ll work with hosts to make their listings easier to find, setting up Google Maps pins, improving photos and descriptions, and optimizing pricing to grow their income.

Most of your day will be outbound calls to hosts, with the rest handling operations like signage programs and tracking results.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of work experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to communicate with customers professionally and in a neighborly way, especially over the phone.
• Ability to follow a process while spotting ways to improve it.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a high volume of work without significant oversight.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and run several dozen calls daily with hosts to create Google Maps pins for Neighbor listings.
• Improve pin quality and performance over time with better photos, descriptions and review requests.
• Pitch hosts on Neighbor signage, send customized signs to those who opt in, and track how each sign performs.
• Coach high-potential hosts on smart pricing, strong photos, reviews and clear descriptions so their listings attract more renters.
• Be Neighbor’s front line with hosts, building relationships that keep them active and growing on the platform.
• Spot bottlenecks in growth programs and propose fixes that make them faster and more effective.
