Job summary

Advocate Health in Milwaukee is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine program on a part-time basis. The role supports our 24/7 HBOT and wound care clinic, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients with complex wounds.

You’ll work on-site at St. Luke’s Milwaukee, provide HBOT assistance, wound care, and patient education, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to advance healing and safety.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of RN experience; not suitable for new grads.
• Strong ICU/ED experience required.
• ACLS and PALS within 3 months.
• Active RN license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert nursing care for wound management, including dressing changes, VAC therapy, compression wraps, and diabetic casts
• Assist with Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy treatments in single and multi-person chambers
• Prepare and monitor patients before, during, and after HBOT sessions
• Provide inpatient wound and ostomy care consultations
• Educate patients on wound care, infection prevention, and recovery strategies
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective care
