Job summary

Frederick Health is seeking an experienced Hyperbaric RN and Wound Clinician RN to provide specialized care for patients requiring hyperbaric oxygen therapy. You will operate HBOT equipment, ensure safety per UHMS/NFPA guidelines, and deliver individualized wound care in collaboration with the medical team.

The role requires advanced certification and a commitment to infection control, regulatory compliance, and continuous patient education.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in Maryland (RN)
• Minimum of 3 years adult nursing w/ wound care experience
• Active wound specialty certification preferred (CWOCN/CWS/WCC)
• Hyperbaric oxygen certification preferred (CHRN/CHT)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Responsibilities

• Operate HBOT equipment and uphold UHMS and NFPA safety guidelines
• Provide wound care in collaboration with medical staff
• Document patient care accurately per healthcare regulations
• Maintain chamber and equipment cleanliness to prevent infection
• Lead infection control and safety practices at all times
• Assist with emergency procedures and drills
• Educate patients on procedure details, safety, and ear clearing techniques
