MercyOne Health System in Davenport, IA, seeks a Certified Hyperbaric Technician to join the Wound Healing Center on Day Shift. You will administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy to diverse patients and operate the hyperbaric chambers and related systems, while upholding UHMS, Joint Commission, and NFPA standards.
Qualified candidates have a CHT from UHMS-recognized program (or Hyperbaric Specialist), Iowa-registered Respiratory Therapist/EMT-Paramedic/ CMA or PTA, BLS training, and at least 1 year

As a Hyperbaric Technician at MercyOne, under the direction of the Safety Director, the Hyperbaric Technician administers hyperbaric oxygen therapy treatments to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients as prescribed by the Hyperbaric Institute Physician. Key accountabilities include operating and maintaining the hyperbaric chambers and associated systems and equipment; and upholding regulatory requirements of The Joint Commission, Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) and National Fire Protection.
