Job summary

Healogics is seeking a Hyperbaric Safety Director to oversee the safe operation of hyperbaric chambers and related systems while ensuring quality patient care. This role includes staff education, safety program leadership, and compliance with hospital policies and CMS guidelines.

Reporting to the Program Director, the director will coordinate safety initiatives, supervise equipment upgrades, and maintain accurate documentation to support a safe, efficient hyperbaric service across the facility.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification.
• Hyperbaric equipment and related systems troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Performs hyperbaric chamber operator duties and prepares patients for treatment.
• Administers HBO therapy as prescribed and monitors patient responses.
• Maintains complete and accurate patient records and data entries.
• Operates and maintains hyperbaric chambers and related oxygen systems.
• Leads the hyperbaric safety program and conducts safety drills.
