Job summary

Personal Touch Home Health Care Services Inc. seeks a Hyperbaric Safety Coordinator to manage the daily operation and maintenance of hyperbaric chambers and related equipment.

You will oversee safety protocols to protect patients and staff and train clinical and technical teams in safe chamber operations and procedures. The role requires completion of an NBDHMT-recognized hyperbaric medicine course or equivalent training, plus at least two years of monoplace chamber experience.

Qualifications

Job description

The Hyperbaric Safety Coordinator is responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of hyperbaric chambers and related equipment.

They oversee hyperbaric safety protocols to ensure patient and staff safety, providing training to nursing and technical personnel on safe chamber operations, maintenance, and safety procedures.

Qualifications include completion of an NBDHMT-recognized hyperbaric medicine course or equivalent military training and at least two years of experience with monoplace hyperbaric chambers.

Additional skills required are flexibility, basic computer skills, effective communication, problem-solving, and knowledge of standards and codes related to hyperbaric facilities.

Preferred Candidates Have Teamwork Experience And Leadership Skills.

Certification requirements include an NBDHMT-approved license (e.g., EMT, LPN, RN) and Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) certification.

Completion of the hyperbaric safety director course must occur within 18 months of hire.

This is a full-time, nonexempt role offering competitive pay, benefits, and a schedule of 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
