Job summary

MEP Health in Rice Lake, WI is seeking a Hyperbaric Safety Coordinator responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, and safety oversight of hyperbaric chambers and related equipment. You will ensure safe chamber operations and supervise training for nursing and technical staff.

The role requires completion of an NBDHMT-recognized course or military training, as well as at least two years' experience with monoplace chambers.

Qualifications

• Completion of an NBDHMT-recognized hyperbaric course or military training.
• Minimum of two years' experience with monoplace hyperbaric chambers.
• Valid NBDHMT license for CHT Certification; CHT certification required at hire.
• Hyperbaric safety director course to be completed within 18 months.

Job description

Role:

Hyperbaric Safety Coordinator responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, and safety oversight of hyperbaric chambers and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe hyperbaric chamber operations, provide training to nursing and technical staff on safety protocols, maintenance procedures, and operational standards.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an NBDHMT-recognized hyperbaric course or military training; minimum of two years' experience with monoplace hyperbaric chambers.

Additional Skills:

• Flexibility, basic computer skills, effective communication, problem-solving, knowledge of hyperbaric standards, codes, and Navy Diving Manuals; team experience and leadership preferred.

Certifications:

• Valid NBDHMT license for CHT Certification (EMT, LPN, LVN, RT, RN); CHT certification required at hire; hyperbaric safety director course to be completed within 18 months.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly rate $27.24 - $40.62; comprehensive benefits, full-time schedule with 8-hour shifts, no weekends or holidays.
