OrthoColorado Hospital in Colorado is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to operate mono-place hyperbaric chambers and support treatment plans under leadership. The role ensures safe, compliant daily hyperbaric therapy delivery and chamber operations in accordance with DNV, UHMS, and state/federal guidelines.

You will deliver respiratory care, monitor patients, assist in emergencies, and provide education. A strong regulatory knowledge base and independent work ability are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required.
• Certified/ Licensed Respiratory Therapist with active state licensure (RRT).
• CRT by NBRC is required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications preferred or to be obtained within specified timelines.

Responsabilités

• Delivers respiratory care procedures to patients in general, acute, critical care, and emergency areas.
• Performs therapeutic modalities including monitoring, medication delivery, ventilation management, expansion therapy, and bronchial hygiene.
• Assists in CPR and emergency care: airway maintenance, cardiac support, patient management.
• Performs diagnostic testing: ABGs, PFTs, EKGs, bronchoscopy, pulse oximetry.
• Develops care plans from assessments and physician orders.
• Provides patient and family education.

Certified/ Licensed Respiratory Therapist

Current state Licensure (RRT)

CRT by NBRC

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
