Job summary

Healogics seeks a Hyperbaric Technician to administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy and manage chamber operations in an outpatient setting. You will monitor patients, document treatments, and ensure safety according to policies.

This role requires BLS/CPR certification and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include patient education, data entry of treatments, occasional vein clinic support, and participation in safety drills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current healthcare professional certification or license as applicable in state of practice.
• CMA/RMA, CHS, CHRN, CHRT, CHWS certifications are valuable.
• RN/LPN/LVN licensure or equivalent healthcare credentials required where applicable.
• Experience with hyperbaric wound care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, educates and orients patients for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.
• Administers therapy as prescribed and monitors patient responses.
• Documents daily treatments and wound care visits; maintains records.
• Operates and maintains hyperbaric chamber and related oxygen systems.
• Assists in vein clinic as trained; participates in safety drills.
• May function as a scribe under policy; performs other duties as assigned.
