Sonrava Health is looking for motivated Dental Hygienists to help build our Hygiene program, grow “patients for life”, and become a leading periodontal, health-focused practice. The Dental Hygienist will teach patients oral hygiene techniques and offer counseling on nutrition and oral health.

Responsibilities

• Review daily schedule with staff for hygiene patients
• Coordinate with front office to schedule hygiene appointments efficiently
• Chart periodontal health accurately
• Communicate professionally with patients
• Perform prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, polishing, and other procedures as appropriate
• Administer local anesthetics if permitted
• Place medicaments for periodontal treatment
• Apply cavity-preventive agents
• Evaluate and improve patient comfort
• Record treatments accurately
• Educate and counsel patients on oral hygiene and nutrition
• Review and update patient histories
• Assist with the recall system and participate in team meetings

Qualifications

Education

• Licensed to practice in the state
• Minimum two-year associate’s degree or higher in dental hygiene
• Experience in fast-paced dental environments; DSO/Group Practice experience preferred

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient multitasking in a fast-paced setting

• Ability to travel between locations (preferred)
