Sonrava Health is currently looking for motivated Dental Hygienists to help build our Hygiene program, grow “patients for life,” and become a leading periodontal, health-focused practice. The Dental Hygienist will teach patients proper oral hygiene, offer nutritional counseling, and perform clinical duties.

Responsibilities

• Review daily schedule with staff for hygiene patients
• Coordinate with front office to schedule patients efficiently
• Chart periodontal health accurately
• Communicate professionally with patients
• Perform prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and polishing
• Administer local anesthetics if permitted
• Place medicaments for periodontal treatment
• Apply cavity-preventive agents
• Monitor patient comfort and anxiety
• Record treatment details accurately
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and nutrition
• Update patient health and dental histories
• Assist with the recall system and participate in team meetings

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice in the state and meet all requirements
• At least a two-year associate’s degree in dental hygiene
• Experience in a fast-paced dental environment; DSO/group practice experience preferred
