Job summary

Smile Starters is seeking an energetic Registered Dental Hygienist to join our pediatric team in a bustling, in-person clinic in North Carolina. You will provide gentle hygiene care for children and young adults, capture digital x-rays, and collaborate closely with dentists and DA II staff.

You will educate families on oral health, secure consent for procedures, and help develop long-term prevention plans in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Valid NC Dental Hygienist License required.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience with pediatric patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and guardians, review histories and take x-rays.
• Perform gentle scaling and polishing for kids and teens.
• Educate parents on treatment plans and lifelong oral habits.
• Coordinate with DA II for smooth patient flow and charting.
• Maintain accurate electronic records and referrals.
