Job summary

Kids Dental Brands is seeking a Hygienist for a pediatric-focused practice in North Carolina. The role emphasizes patient education, preventative care, and creating positive experiences for children in a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
• North Carolina Dental Hygiene license active and in good standing.
• Commitment to patient education and preventative care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatment by welcoming, seating, draping, and soothing patient.
• Record observations about the child’s dental health, including notes on any infections or other problems that may require attention.
• Examine gums to assess levels of periodontal disease.
• Maintain instrumentation by sterilizing and sharpening instruments.
• Applying fluorides and other dental decay prevention agents.
• Provide quality patient care and education regarding tooth and gum care

Position Requirements

• Active North Carolina Dental Hygiene license

$40 - $45 an hour
