Job Overview

Featherstone Periodontics and Implant Dentistry has been a leader in delivering exceptional periodontal and implant care for over 30 years across Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Business Coordinator to support our hygiene schedule and front office operations. This role is vital in maintaining patient satisfaction and efficient clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain the Hygiene Schedule: Confirm appointments, minimize cancellations, and fill open slots.
2. Patient Check-In/Out: Greet, register, and ensure documentation accuracy.
3. Review Treatment Plans: Discuss with patients to support case acceptance.
4. Payment & Insurance: Collect payments, explain billing, and manage insurance claims.
5. Phone Communication: Handle calls, appointment scheduling, reminders, and inquiries.
6. Coordinate with External Offices: Request and obtain patient records and X-rays.
7. Software & Data: Update patient information accurately in management software.

Shift Schedule

• Monday: 9:15 AM – 5:00 PM
• Wednesday: 7:40 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday & Thursday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 7:45 AM – 2:00 PM (Lunch optional)
