Job Summary and Qualifications

The Food and Nutrition Services Stocker department disperses food and supplies received from vendors to the appropriate storage locations in a timely and accurate manner. Responsibilities include providing a safe and organized food service storeroom area for our facility. The hospital's dining hours and shifts promote a great work-life balance. Your food service experience, commitment to service, safety, and professionalism will contribute to a positive experience for patients, visitors, and colleagues.

What you will do in this role:

• Ensure proper storage of food and non-food items received.
• Maintain the storage area in a clean and orderly manner according to regulatory guidelines, and document corrective actions if needed.
• Ensure appropriate inventory levels.
• Stock the cafeteria and service areas with necessary service ware and food items to ensure efficient operation.
• Assist with monthly inventory, daily orders, and maintaining kitchen utensils, equipment, and surfaces in a safe and sanitary manner.
• Assist with tray line, food delivery, and late tray carts to nursing areas daily.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Food Handler's Permit must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
