Job summary

Superior Hydrovac is seeking a Hydrovac Operator to join our field teams. This role requires frequent travel (90%) and hands-on operation of hydrovac equipment to expose utilities safely and efficiently. You will aid in project setup, execution, and cleanup with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

Class A CDL with Air Brake and Tanker Endorsement required.
Minimum of 1 year of related experience or training.
Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid state driver's license within two weeks.

Responsibilities

Complete hydro excavation projects including utility line exposure, debris removal, trenching, and digging.
Operate Hydrovac trucks and equipment in a safe and professional manner.
Supervise activities of Hydrovac Laborers to develop skills.
Set up and inspect grounding/bonding procedures for Hydrovac operation.
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance.
Exposing existing utilities for HDD work and related tasks.
