Job summary

A construction services company based in Charlotte is seeking a full-time Hydrovac Technician to assist with a variety of tasks demanding manual labor such as operating hydrovac equipment and maintaining safety at job sites. The ideal candidate should be able to lift heavy objects, work extended hours, and possess a strong safety mindset. Candidates with previous experience in underground utility or heavy equipment operation will be preferred. Benefits include medical insurance, 401(k) matching, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Previous hydrovac, trucking, vacuum truck or related industrial experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and care for construction equipment and machines.
• Assist with proper disposal of debris and waste materials.
• Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
• Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labour tasks.
