Job summary

Superior Hydrovac in Lebanon, TN seeks a Hydrovac Operator to perform hydro excavation with a focus on safety and efficiency. You will operate Hydrovac trucks, expose underground utilities, and support trenching and pole work while adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements.

The role requires a Class A CDL with Air Brake and Tanker endorsements and at least 1 year of related experience, with background checks and a pre-employment drug screen.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with Air Brake and Tanker Endorsement required.
• Minimum 1 year related experience or training.
• Must pass criminal/MVR background checks and pre-employment drug screen.
• Must obtain/possess valid State driver’s license within two weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

• Complete hydro excavation projects including utility line exposure, debris removal, trenching, and digging.
• Operate Hydrovac trucks and equipment safely and professionally.
• Supervise Hydrovac Laborers to ensure skill development.
• Set up and inspect grounding/bonding procedures for Hydrovac operations.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and routine maintenance.
• Expose utilities for HDD work and support pole holes and trench work.
• Assist with exposing existing underground utilities for placement and maintenance.
