Job summary

Badger Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a Hydrovac Operator to safely operate hydrovac equipment, using high-pressure water and vacuum systems to dig precisely and support construction projects.

You will drive hydrovac trucks, participate in safety meetings, perform inspections and minor repairs, and document all required paperwork. The role offers $30.00 per hour and opportunities for raises and career advancement.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A or B CDL.
• CPR/First Aid, Fall Protection and OSHA 10 certification (preferred).
• Experience driving a manual transmission (10-18 speed) without automatic restrictions (preferred).
• Ability to work variable shifts with extended hours.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds and perform manual labor in varying weather.
• Prior hydrovac equipment operations or related industrial experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydrovac equipment and perform hydrovac duties in various environments, including confined spaces.
• Drive hydrovac trucks (10-15% of total work time).
• Attend safety meetings.
• Perform routine inspections and minor repairs of hydrovac equipment.
• Prepare work areas by setting up safety measures and addressing hazards.
• Document and report all paperwork accurately and efficiently.
