Job summary

Badger Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a Hydrovac Operator to join our team in Detroit. You will operate hydrovac equipment, using high-pressure water and vacuum systems to dig precisely, uncover utilities, and support diverse construction projects.

The role emphasizes safety, physical stamina, and flexibility, with union wages and benefits discussed directly with the Branch Manager. CDL required, and travel up to 25% may be involved.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A or B CDL.
• CPR/First Aid, Fall Protection and OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Experience driving a manual transmission (10-18 speed) without automatic restrictions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydrovac equipment and use high-pressure water and vacuum systems.
• Dig precisely and efficiently, uncover utilities, and support construction projects.
• Maintain safety standards and adapt to varying weather and shifts.
