Superior Hydrovac is seeking a skilled Hydrovac Operator to join our field team. You will operate hydrovac trucks to excavate and expose underground utilities with a focus on safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities include completing projects, supervising laborers, performing inspections, and maintaining equipment. Strong teamwork and the ability to read maps and plans are essential for successful field execution and meeting project timelines.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with Air Brake and Tanker Endorsement required.
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience or training.
• Must pass criminal and MVR background checks and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Complete hydro excavation projects including utility exposure and debris removal.
• Operate Hydrovac trucks and equipment safely and professionally.
• Supervise Hydrovac Laborers to develop skills.
• Set up and inspect grounding and bonding procedures for operations.
• Prepare and file required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and routine maintenance.
• Execute daily vacuum excavation tasks and trenching as needed.
• Expose utilities for HDD work and support pole holes and trench work.
