Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Structural Designer to join the Energy and Resources Design Team.

You will contribute to hydropower, dams, naval facilities, and waterfront infrastructure projects across North America and globally, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions. You will work under supervision of a Senior Designer or Engineer in a hybrid model, with in-office collaboration 2–3 days per week, and opportunities to coach junior

Qualifications

• Graduate of Technical or College Course in Design/Drafting, or equivalent experience.
• 6–12 years of engineering consulting or construction experience.
• Experience with hydropower, dams, navigation structures, maritime facilities, shipyards or waterfront projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply the Stantec Safety Culture and comply with Health and Safety rules.
• Perform modeling, drafting and structural design tasks for a wide variety of projects.
• Complete project deliverables on budget and schedule.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project teams to produce quality deliverables.
• Travel to local project sites as needed.
