Job summary
Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Structural Designer to join the Energy and Resources Design Team.
The role involves contributing to complex multidisciplinary projects across North America with a focus on hydropower, dams, water resources, and marine infrastructure. You will work under supervision of a Senior Designer/Engineer, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality design solutions, while mentoring junior designers and supporting project quality
Qualifications
- Experience supporting hydropower, dams, navigation structures, or waterfront projects.
- Proficiency with BIM tools (Revit, AutoCAD) and related workflows.
- Ability to mentor junior designers and work in a collaborative, remote-friendly environment.
Responsibilities
- Understand and apply Stantec Safety Culture and Health and Safety rules.
- Perform modeling, drafting and structural design tasks for diverse projects.
- Complete project deliverables on budget and schedule.
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams to produce quality deliverables.
- Travel to local project sites as needed.
