Job summary

Brookfield Renewable N.A. is seeking a Manager, Operations to direct a team responsible for operating, maintaining and repairing hydroelectric facilities on the Androscoggin River. You will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable energy production in line with regulatory requirements across multiple facilities.

The role requires supervising staff, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring adherence to HSSE policies and ISO-NE requirements while managing communications up and down the organization.

Qualifications

• Strong supervisory and interpersonal abilities to lead a team.
• Experience with hydro or generation plant operation preferred.
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage activities of staff for operation, maintenance and repair of hydroelectric facilities.
• Ensure compliance with HSSE policies and regulatory licenses.
• Plan and supervise safe operation and repair of hydropower equipment.
• Be available for calls during power system disruptions and supervise repairs.
• Ensure ISO-NE operating requirements are met for station operation.
