Job summary

Energy 1 MT LLC is seeking a Hydronics Project Lead in Bozeman, MT to guide field technicians through hydronics installations, ensure on-time completion, and uphold Energy 1’s safety and quality standards. You will work with the Hydronic Department Manager and Project Manager to plan material needs, manage schedules, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• 3 years of radiant install or related experience.
• Must have tools of the trade.
• Must be organized and dependable.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage Hydronics projects at the field level and ensure successful execution.
• Lead installation crews through all phases of hydronic system installation from underground work to final trim-out.
• Manage field technicians, assign tasks, and coordinate with other trades to maintain the project schedule.
• Coordinate submittals, RFIs, and project documentation with Department Managers and Project Managers.
• Order and coordinate project materials to ensure availability when needed.
• Participate in project kickoff meetings and help establish schedules and manpower needs.
• Perform and oversee skilled installations meeting Energy 1 quality standards.
• Maintain regular communication with Managers via email, phone, and in person.
• Read and interpret project plans, specifications, and installation requirements.
• Lead, train, mentor, and supervise junior staff to build a capable team.
• Forecast material needs with a two-week look-ahead and manage safety standards.
