Job summary

Plug Power is seeking a Senior Director of Logistics to lead hydrogen logistics in North America (excluding Europe). You will define a scalable, compliant transportation strategy, manage a multi-million-dollar spend, and build a high-performing team.

This role emphasizes safety-critical operations, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with executive leadership to align logistics with growth. You will drive cost optimization, implement TMS and other digital solutions, and report KPIs to the

Qualifications

10+ years of logistics or supply chain leadership experience.
Experience with hydrogen, hazardous materials, or cryogenic logistics preferred.
Strong financial acumen including budgeting and cost optimization.
Proven ability to influence executives and lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Lead strategy, planning, and execution for hydrogen transport to customers and suppliers.
Own the transportation function and align with sourcing, production, and product strategy.
Establish scalable logistics networks to support North America expansion.
Oversee capacity planning, terminal and fueling infrastructure, and capital planning.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and risk mitigation.
Build and develop a high-performing North America logistics organization.
Drive cost optimization and deliverables tied to load point to customer delivery.
Report KPIs to Executive Leadership and Board as needed.
