Job summary

Eagle Creek Renewable Energy, LLC seeks a Maintenance Operator to support the operation and maintenance of hydroelectric powerhouse and dam equipment. Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, performing mechanical and hydraulic repairs, and ensuring safety and compliance with plant procedures.

The role requires hands-on experience with mechanical systems, welding and fabrication basics, and the ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and on-call when needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of proper and safe use of hand/power tools.
• Knowledge and experience with basic industrial maintenance activities.
• Basic Welding/Cutting/Fabrication skills.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and piping systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct and perform operation duties of powerhouse and dam.
• Direct and perform in-service and release for maintenance work.
• Perform troubleshooting on low‑to‑mid‑voltage electrical systems and diagnose faults.
• Conduct inspection tours of powerhouse and dam.
• Instruct/train employees in operations and safety.
• Determine causes of abnormal operating conditions and take corrective actions.
• Repair mechanical equipment and assist with electrical equipment repairs.
• Maintain shift records and use email system.
