Job summary

Evers & Sons Inc. is seeking a Hydro Test Technician to join our manufacturing team in Texas. You will perform hydrostatic pressure testing on valves, piping, pressure vessels, and subassemblies, verifying integrity and compliance with specs and safety requirements.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, English proficiency, and 1–3 years in manufacturing or quality inspection. Training will be provided, with opportunities for career growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to read, write and speak Spanish is a plus.
• One to three years of experience in manufacturing, quality inspection, valve assembly, industrial pressure testing, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydrostatic pressure testing on valves, piping, pressure vessels, fabricated assemblies, and other components per procedures and specs.
• Set up hydro-test equipment, including pumps, gauges, chart recorders, hoses, fixtures, and tooling.
• Review engineering specs, drawings, work instructions, and test requirements before starting work.
• Calculate and verify required test pressures, hold times, and acceptance criteria.
• Fill and prepare components for testing, remove trapped air, and pressurize to required test pressure.
• Document test pressures, hold times, results, and other test information.
• Enter test results into ERP/quality systems and coordinate with QA as needed.
• Maintain and inspect hydro-test equipment; report repairs or replacements.
