The technician will set up testing equipment, monitor readings, document results, and ensure systems are prepared and safe. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience performing hydrostatic testing on piping, vessels, and fabricated equipment.
• Ability to read and understand drawings, procedures, and pressure-test documentation.
• Mechanical aptitude with hand and power tools; safe operation around pressurized systems.

Responsabilités

• Perform hydrostatic pressure testing on piping, vessels, and fabricated equipment.
• Set up hydrotest equipment, pumps, hoses, valves, gauges, and connections.
• Verify test components and ensure systems are prepared before testing.
• Conduct tests according to procedures and specifications.
• Monitor and record pressure readings, test times, and results.
• Identify leaks or issues during testing and assist with troubleshooting.
• Safely depressurize and drain equipment after tests.
• Maintain testing documentation and records.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
