Job summary

TransTech Fabrication, Inc. in McGregor, TX is seeking a Hydro Test Operator to close pressure vessels and perform tests according to blueprint specifications. The role is full-time and based in McGregor, Texas.

You will follow safety procedures, wear PPE, and work outdoors in changing weather. The position requires being trainable, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and climbing ladders. Shifts can be lengthy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pressure tests.
• Follow proper safety procedures.
• Wear PPE as necessary.
• May perform other duties as required.
• Must be trainable and willing to learn.
• Must be able to work in fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work outdoor in different weather conditions.
• Must be able to consistently lift 50lbs.
• Must be able to work on ladders and at heights.
• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours.
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head is required.
