Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Site Planner to join the Hydro Power North America team on-site in Washington State. You will develop and maintain resource-loaded schedules in Primavera P6, coordinate with site teams, and provide reports on progress, risks, and recovery actions for a major hydropower project.

Responsibilities include leading lookahead planning, tracking progress and earned value, and coordinating with management and client representatives to ensure schedule integrity and timely communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of planning and scheduling experience in complex EPC environments, with on-site planning.
• Advanced planning methodologies and Primavera P6 proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed, resource-loaded schedules (Level 4-5) in Primavera P6.
• Coordinate daily/weekly planning with site teams to optimize resources.
• Lead short-term planning meetings (Last Planner, lookahead) with crews and subs.
• Track progress, earned value, and productivity; update plans for site conditions.
• Identify variances and propose mitigation or recovery actions.
• Review drawings to identify interfaces and sequencing risks.
• Prepare schedule-related claims and delay analyses per contract.
• Provide timely schedule updates to management and client representatives.
