Job summary

Voith Group is seeking an Intern in Project Planning to support planning and coordination for hydroelectric projects in York, PA. The role provides exposure to outage planning, work package development, and commissioning support under experienced field engineers.

The intern will assist with coordinating activities, reviewing work packages, tracking progress, and maintaining documentation, while aligning with safety, quality, and procedural requirements.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
• Strong interest in project planning and engineering coordination.
• Basic understanding of mechanical/electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and coordination of installation, maintenance, and commissioning activities.
• Assist with development and review of work packages, procedures, and documentation.
• Track progress against schedules and help identify potential risks or constraints.
• Support preparation of reports, check sheets, and turnover documentation.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
