Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years of professional mechanical engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience at hydroelectric plants is preferred.
• Ability to work in both field and office environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support with operations and maintenance.
• Review planned work with the mechanical maintenance crew.
• Assist procurement and sourcing of materials.
• Work independently to complete tasks and manage priorities.
• Suggest projects to improve safety, reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure designs meet codes and promote safe operation.
• Design engineering tasks including stresses, tolerances and drawings.
• Develop disassembly procedures with tooling and rigging for rotating machinery.
• Develop assembly procedures with proper materials and clearances.
