Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 1 year of experience as a maintenance mechanic in an industrial setting or military experience.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills and be proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, and CMMS systems.
• Must meet driver qualification requirements and obtain a valid CDL Class A within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Determines safe methods and practices of repairing power plant equipment.
• Performs preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on mechanical power plant equipment.
• Interprets mechanical drawings and uses precision measuring equipment.
• Maintains inventory of plant tools and spare parts and tracks maintenance in CMMS.
