Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
3+ years of hands-on mechanical engineering experience in industrial or similar environments.
Strong background in fluid dynamics and mechanical design.
Proficiency in CAD software and finite element analysis (FEA).
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
U.S. Citizenship and eligibility to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

Design and implement solutions for large-scale hydromechanical systems used in testing Naval ship components.
Troubleshoot complex electromechanical equipment and identify root causes.
Suggest cost-effective design improvements for reliability and safety.
Perform periodic quality checks and plan repairs.
Operate and maintain large test facilities and equipment, including the Large Cavitation Channel.
