Badger Meter is seeking an Engineer I – Hydro Lab Test to validate performance and reliability of flow meters and sensors. You will design and execute test solutions, improve lab systems, and support product development from concept to validation.

Electrical engineering background required with a passion for testing and problem solving. You will work with experienced engineers to perform testing, analyze results, and document procedures while contributing to continuous improvement of lab

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to take initiative and work both independently and within a team environment.
• Effective communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Perform performance and compliance testing on flow meters, sensors, and communication products
• Support the design and development of test setups, control systems, and automated data acquisition tools
• Collect, analyze, and interpret test data to inform product performance and quality decisions
• Develop and maintain test procedures, work instructions, and documentation
• Troubleshoot and support existing lab equipment, hardware, and software systems
• Assist in defining test plans, scope, and timelines for engineering projects
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Project Management teams
• Contribute to continuous improvement of lab capabilities and testing methods
