Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a Hydro Field Team Leader to direct safe, high-quality field work across North America. You will lead crews, guide stator/rotor repairs, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and schedule requirements.

The role requires strong leadership, deep electrical/mechanical expertise, and the ability to travel extensively, often weeks at customer sites. IPS emphasizes growth, teamwork, and industry-leading service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in hydroelectric generators or large rotating equipment field service.
• Experience leading field crews and critical outages.
• Ability to read technical drawings and repair documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field service crews on hydro generator inspection, repair, and refurbishment.
• Coordinate field activities, tooling, equipment, and priorities to keep projects on schedule.
• Provide technical leadership during stator/rotor repair, testing, and documentation.
• Serve as onsite liaison between IPS, engineering, and customers.
• Identify and escalate risks to budget, safety, or scope promptly.
