Qualifications

• Accredited bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of related engineering experience.
• Familiarity with fluid-power concepts.
• Experience with hydraulic/pneumatic routing and component sizing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Occasional evening or weekend work as needed.
• Export-control eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve mechanical components and systems for heavy-duty vehicles.
• Develop hydraulic and pneumatic routing layouts.
• Perform calculations and analyses for sizing and selection of components.
• Prepare layouts, drawings, specifications, and BOMs.
• Evaluate designs for performance, safety, reliability, and cost.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, technicians, suppliers, and manufacturing teams.
• Investigate design and production issues and propose technical solutions.
• Maintain project documentation and prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Support multiple assignments and mentor junior team members.
• Follow established engineering procedures and drawing standards.
