Henderson Products invites applications for an Installation Technician in our hydraulics department in Huntley, IL. You will install, service, inspect, and troubleshoot hydraulic systems for heavy-duty work trucks, reading schematics and diagrams to ensure accurate builds.

Your role involves diagnostic and repair work, wiring familiarity, and collaborating with a team in a manufacturing environment. Night shift hours apply with the stated shift differential.

Qualifications

• Basic shop math, ability to interpret diagrams and blueprints
• Hand dexterity and proficiency with hand tools
• Welding, electrical or hydraulics knowledge a plus
• Ability to read schematics and perform shop math

Responsibilities

• Install, service, inspect and troubleshoot hydraulic systems in heavy duty trucks
• Read diagrams, blueprints and schematics and perform accurate installations
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic components and wiring where needed
• Work as part of a team in a manufacturing setting and maintain safety standards

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

As an Installation Technician in our hydraulics department you will play a crucial role in the hydraulics bay Your responsibilities will include installing servicing inspecting and troubleshooting hydraulic systems and components all contributing to the completion of heavy duty work truck builds The role also involves diagnostic and repair work You will need to read schematics diagrams blueprints perform shop math and ensure accurate installations and repairs Knowledge of wiring and electrical systems is a plus

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS

preferred Basic shop math & ability to interpret work instructions diagrams & blueprintsHand dexterity and working knowledge of hand toolsMust be willing to work in a team environmentPrevious experience in manufacturing settingFamiliarity with weld assembly processesTechnical degree helpful andor specialty certifications ie welding electrical hydraulics not required
