Job summary

Jobot is hiring an Industrial Hydraulics Application Engineer in Cincinnati to own the technical side of projects, from requirements to commissioning. You will partner with customers and sales to define the application and design the best-fit hydraulic system, and create schematics, size components, build BOMs, and support quotes.

The role requires a BS in ME or Fluid Power, 3+ years in hydraulics and systems integration, strong circuit design, CAD proficiency, and up to 15% travel.

Qualifications

• BS in ME or Fluid Power or equivalent.
• 3+ years in industrial hydraulics or systems integration.
• Strong circuit design and component selection; UL/CE knowledge a plus.
• Proficient with CAD and hydraulic modeling.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers and sales to define the application and design the best-fit hydraulic system.
• Create schematics, size components, build BOMs, and support quotes/proposals.
• Review/approve designs, support testing/validation, and improve performance from field feedback.
• Support startup/commissioning/troubleshooting (new and retrofit systems).
