Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Knoxville, TN seeks a Welder to accurately weld hydraulic cylinders and attachments per drawings. You’ll work with MIG, TIG, and robotic welding, joining components to specs and interpreting mechanical drawings. Maintain QC checks and follow Five S and safety standards in a fast-paced production area.

You’ll need at least 1 year MIG welding experience, ability to read weld symbols, and the discipline to work autonomously or with a team on 2nd shift and weekend schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year MIG welding experience.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and weld symbols.
• Experience selecting weld settings and using quality control tools.
• Commitment to safety and 5S standards.
• Strong organization and communication; able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Weld hydraulic cylinders and attachments per drawings using MIG/TIG/Robotic welding.
• Join base plates, cross tubes and rod ends to cylinders per specs.
• Weld components to cylinders as per drawings and weld symbols.
• Interpret drawings, select weld settings, and operate equipment.
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauges; maintain equipment; follow safety procedures.
