Responsibilities include reading drawings, setting weld parameters, joining components, and inspecting with calipers and gauges while maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and weld symbols.
• Experience selecting proper weld settings and using QC tools.

Responsibilities

• Weld hydraulic cylinders and attachments per drawings using MIG/TIG/Robotic welding.
• Join base plates, cross tubes, port blocks, and rod ends to cylinder tubes and rods.
• Weld attachments and components per mechanical drawings and weld symbols.
• Interpret drawings, respond to management direction, and select proper weld settings.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges for quality control; maintain equipment and follow safety procedures.
