Job summary

AFP Industries, Inc. is seeking a mechanically skilled technician to disassemble, inspect and recondition hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders and related components. You will read schematics, perform teardown and reassembly, and ensure proper sealing and testing of repaired equipment.

The role requires strong communication, reliable manual dexterity, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. A high school diploma is required, with hydraulic and welding experience considered a plus.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Ability to read schematics and operation sheets.
• Ability to disassemble and reassemble machines and equipment.
• Responsible for inspecting, identifying and installing seals.
• Responsible for testing and set-up of all repaired equipment.
• Reports any malfunctions or equipment problems to Shop Manager.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills And Abilities Required

• Must be proficient in basic cylinder assembly and teardown skills.
• Steady eye-hand coordination.
• Strong communication skills.

Physical Requirement

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Education And Experience Required
