Job summary

AtWork Personnel in Irving, TX is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Technician to perform inspection, troubleshooting, disassembly, repair, and assembly of hydraulic cylinders used in steel processing and heavy industrial equipment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on hydraulic repair experience, can identify why a cylinder failed, determine repairs or replacements, and rebuild it correctly. This full-time role with a day shift offers $26–$28/hour based on experience and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on hydraulic cylinder repair experience.
• Knowledge of hydraulic components, seals, and common failure modes.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators, and other measuring tools.
• Comfortable working with large, heavy industrial components.
• Dependable, safety-minded, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and rebuild hydraulic cylinders.
• Identify seal, rod, piston, gland, scoring, wear, contamination, and alignment issues.
• Measure rods, barrels, pistons, glands, and other components.
• Install seals, wear bands, wipers, and related components.
• Assist with pressure testing and leak checks.
• Document inspection findings and repair recommendations.
• Work with machinists, welders, QC, and assembly personnel.
• Follow all safety procedures when handling heavy components, cranes, and hydraulic equipment.

Full-Time | Day Shift | Overtime as Needed
Pay: $26–$28/hour based on experience
