Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Buford, GA is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Component Repair Technician to diagnose, rebuild, and test hydraulic pumps, cylinders, valves, motors, gearboxes, and related components in our repair shop.

This hands-on role focuses on tear down, failure analysis, rebuilding, performance testing, and documentation from start to final testing. The position is in-person, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with attention to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hydraulic repair experience.
  • Experience repairing and rebuilding hydraulic components from multiple OEM brands.
  • Ability to read hydraulic schematics and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose root causes of hydraulic component failures through tear down, inspection, and testing
  • Rebuild hydraulic pumps, cylinders, valves, motors, gearboxes, and related components to OEM specifications
  • Disassemble, clean, inspect, measure, and document component wear and failure modes
  • Replace seals, bearings, shafts, and other worn components while maintaining critical tolerances
  • Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, exploded views, and OEM repair manuals
  • Perform bench testing and quality verification of rebuilt components prior to release
  • Complete repair documentation, including findings, parts used, and test results
  • Manage repair projects independently from initial tear down through final testing
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized repair shop environment

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Component Repair Technician to diagnose, rebuild, and test hydraulic pumps, cylinders, valves, motors, gearboxes, and related components in a dedicated repair shop environment. This is a hands-on bench repair role focused exclusively on component tear down, failure analysis, rebuilding, and performance testing. This position does not involve preventive maintenance, facilities maintenance, or servicing production equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose root causes of hydraulic component failures through tear down, inspection, and testing
  • Rebuild hydraulic pumps, cylinders, valves, motors, gearboxes, and related components to OEM specifications
  • Disassemble, clean, inspect, measure, and document component wear and failure modes

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
  • Experience repairing and rebuilding hydraulic components from multiple OEM brands
  • Ability to read hydraulic schematics and technical manuals
  • Proficiency with measuring tools and shop equipment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of hydraulic repair experience
  • Experience with industrial hydraulics
  • Machining or fabrication experience is a plus

The Shift is IN PERSON - Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
